The NanoCosmos project aims to develop innovative and sustainable cosmetic ingredients by valorizing plant by-products and applying advanced nanotechnology and green extraction methods. Through interdisciplinary collaboration between universities, research institutes, and industry partners across Europe, the project promotes the creation of high-value bioactive compounds for cosmetic applications. A key component of the project is the secondment program, which enables researchers to spend periods working within partner institutions or companies. These secondments foster knowledge exchange, strengthen international collaboration, and allow researchers to gain hands-on experience with new technologies, methodologies, and industrial practices, ultimately enhancing the impact and applicability of the project’s outcomes.
