An outreach & societal activity, NANOCOSMOS concerns the support/sponsorship of the “Fleuressence” project. 

This is a project implemented by students of European school in Brussels in the frame of “Young Businessmen” competition organised by Belgian state. The projects concerns the production of body oils for external dermal use (based on almond/olive oil and embedded natural botanics such as rosmarin, lavender and chamomille). 

Professor Proestos has been invited to a TEAMs meeting with the project team in Wednesday 05 February 2025, where explained the health benefits of natural botanicals to the students and offered to provide sponsorship, in therms of raw materials and consumables and technical support such as laboratory analysis of product samples.

 The Fleuressence project has participated very successfully in exhibition events such as LJE/Le Jeunes Entrepreneurs, in Brussels, in Saturday 08 February 2025,  where their team highlighted the valuable support and sponsorship by EU funded NANOCOSMOS project.
